The second of two Joyce LPs featuring the Boyd Raeburn Orchestra on the radio, this album has four numbers taken from the same broadcast that resulted in the earlier LP (Joyce 5010); "Caravan" has a rare early flute solo from Harry Klee. Otherwise the Orchestra is featured playing George Handy arrangements (including "Tonsilectomy," "Yerxa" and very dissonant backup to Ginnie Powell's vocal on "Body and Soul"; in addition there are two features for the Tommy Todd trio. This is an interesting set that brings back the experimental atmosphere of the mid-'40s. ~ Scott Yanow, All Music Guide
