    Only Rock N Roll: 1970-74 is an excellent budget-priced collection, featuring 20 tracks -- including radio favorites like Norman Greenbaum's "Spirit in the Sky," Seals & Crofts' "Summer Breeze," Isaac Hayes' "Theme from Shaft," Stephen Stills' "Love the One You're With," Alice Cooper's "Eighteen," Blues Image's "Ride Captain Ride," Argent's "Hold Your Head Up" and Lee Michaels' "Do You Know What I Mean" -- from the early '70s. It's not necessarily a comprehensive collection, but if you want a sampler from this era -- and if you need a good-quality version of one or more of the hits on this disc -- this is a very entertaining listen and is a terrific bargain. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
