    Thinking About You is a various artists collection designed to appeal to fans of middle-of-the-road, '90s adult contemporary pop. There are a few selections from the late '80s, but the bulk of the collection features early '90s romantic hits like Maxi Priest's "Close To You" and the Heights' "How Do You Talk to An Angel." The main problem with Thinking About You is that it was tracks like the Mavericks' version of "Blue Moon" that were never hits, therefore it doesn't have the thrill of instant recognition that the rest of the songs have. Nevertheless, the disc has enough strong tracks for fans of adult contemporary radio to make it a worthwhile purchase -- after all, this disc does illustrate exactly how easy hits radio sounded in the first half of the '90s. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
