    All Music Guide Review

Another silly K-Tel compilation boasting 1970s Top Ten radio hits, Music Express has potential to simultaneously delight and annoy listeners with a truly assorted lineup. Opening curiously with "The Rockford Files" television theme, the remaining nine songs haphazardly meander through disco hits ("Lady Marmalade," "Fly, Robin, Fly") novelty folk songs ("Black Superman [Muhammed Ali]"), AM soft rock staples ("Wildfire," "Lovin' You"), and the just plain obscure. Patterned after countless K-Tel vinyl offerings sold into the early '80s, Music Express displays comparable artwork with the same nostalgic, kitschy appeal. For those of a certain era, this fun little package simply offers random songs of yesteryear as heard from dance clubs to dentist office waiting rooms. ~ Craig Curtice, All Music Guide
