All Music Guide Review

Befitting a sequel as rote and predictable as Predator 2, Alan Silvestri's score does little more than rehash his music for the original film. The central melodies and motifs established by Silvestri for the first Predator film remain ubiquitous here as well, as do the composer's sonic calling cards. Eruptions of horns, shrieking string arrangements, and swelling timpani combine for a sensory assault that's positively overwhelming.
