Although most of Freddy Fresh's Harthouse gear has sat on the housey techno side of the fence, Accidentally Classic is dominated by thin, 808 breaks and atmospheric melodies that give it a certain old-school Sheffield feel. Fresh roped in buddy/D-Jaxx producer Tim Taylor for mixdown, and the album is noticeably more polished than the usual lo-fi Fresh gear. Surprising. ~ Sean Cooper, All Music Guide
