This budget reissue shines the spotlight on eight of Smokey and the Miracles' biggest hits, with two of Smokey's later solo hits ("Cruisin'" and "Being With You") tacked on. If you don't have any Smokey and the Miracles in the collection, this is a good cheap way to round up "Shop Around," "The Tears of a Clown," "The Tracks of My Tears," "Ooh Baby Baby," "You've Really Got a Hold On Me," "Mickey's Monkey," and "I Second That Emotion" -- not a bad place to start. ~ Cub Koda, All Music Guide
