Best of '80s Rock, Vol. 6 is an entertaining, budget-priced collection that contains nine new wave, pop-rock and dance-pop hits from the '80s. There are a couple of cuts that fall flat, but there are enough good songs -- including Bow Wow Wow's "Do You Wanna Hold Me?," Toni Basil's "Mickey," Red Hot Chili Peppers' "True Men Don't Kill Coyotes," the Ramones' "Chinese Rocks," Wall of Voodoo's "Mexican Radio" and Public Image Ltd.'s "This Is Not a Love Song" -- to make it worth its budget price. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
