This collection includes unedited recordings from the disco era (some disco, some not) like William Devaughn's "Be Thankful for What You Got" and the Independents' epic "Just as Long as You Need Me." Four songs represent the work of Sylvia and Joe Robinson's All Platinum label: "Shame, Shame, Shame," by Shirley & Co., Sylvia's "Pillow Talk," the Moments & the Whatnauts' "Girls," and Donnie Elbert's "Where Did Our Love Go". The many good-to-hear-again tracks include New York City's smash "I'm Doing Fine Now," as well as songs by Ultra High Frequency, John Travolta, and South Side. A fine collection with a misleading title,as most of the songs on this album aren't traditional disco, nor are all the artists bonafide one-hit wonders. ~ Andrew Hamilton, All Music Guide
