This is the second volume of Rick Wakeman's Airs trilogy of solo new age piano pieces. It's a fine showcase for Wakeman the virtuoso, with strong playing on a variety of original compositions. More diverse in mood than its predecessor (the original Country Airs), it ranges from the playful "Flying Fish" to the reflective "Time and Tide" to the forceful showpiece "The Sailor's Lament." ~ Stephen Raiteri, All Music Guide
