This is Vol. 4 in the compilation series Spotlite on Josie Records from Collectables. These 14 tracks are taken from the vaults of Josie, one of the premier labels for doo wop. Highlights include original versions of the Chaperones' "Cruise to the Moon," the Starlings' "My Plea for Love," and the Bluenotes' "Wagon Wheels." Also included is an outtake of the Cadillacs hit "Zoom." If you're curious about doo wop beyond the tried-and-true hits, this compilation is a good place to start.
