Trying to cash in on Queer as Folk's success, Nervous collects some of their better singles on Queer as Nervous. The label's music has been played repeatedly in the show's Woody's and Babylon club, so the compilation is not without merit. Filled with uplifting anthems and some of the heroes of the house music scene (Armand Van Helden, Kim English, Byron Stingily), Queer as Nervous provides an underground alternative to the show's official soundtracks. ~ David Jeffries, All Music Guide
