Revolution No. 9: A Tribute to the Beatles was a tribute album from the early '90s assembled by British pop and indie musicians, before the Beatles became trendy in the wake of Oasis and the Anthology series. Like all tribute albums, it's quite uneven, but a handful of tracks -- notably those by such elders as Paul Weller and Billy Bragg -- make the album worth a listen. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
