Nicole Morier and Mia Dime are quite ambitious in their craft, for their quirky new wave mix smoothly combines punk rock appeal for a white-hot debut. From the saucy synth pop of "I Love My Daddy" to the cheeky rendition of Sexual Harrassment's club hit "I Need a Freak," Electrocute are fierce in making this particular release a fashionable affair. Edgy guitar riffs add to the band's slick presentation to a small degree, but Electrocute's vocals remain center of attention. Fussy and raunchy, "Kleiner Dicker Junge" highlights their sarcastic wit for an electro-rock treat. Electrocute give new face to the Berlin underground scene while challenging the garage rock rampage with their own campy pop. It's pretty impressive. ~ MacKenzie Wilson, All Music Guide
