Fresh off of the success of his Dance Factory mix, Louie DeVito jumps back onto the dancefloor with Dance Divas. Whereas previous DeVito mixes have only been concerned with keeping the crowds pumping on the dancefloor, Dance Divas ups the stakes with a "ladies only" focus. The club-packing New York DJ keeps the energy high as always with a roster that includes disco veteran Gloria Gaynor alongside more recent club queens like Alice Deejay ("Better off Alone") and Sandy B ("Make the World Go Round"). Beyond club stars, whose notoriety is contained by the lights and smoke of the dancefloor, DeVito has enlisted pop superstars Toni Braxton, Deborah Cox, Angie Stone, and even country-pop crossover diva Leann Rimes to push Dance Divas even further. ~ Wade Kergan, All Music Guide
