As part of the BMG Heritage midline series, Platinum & Gold Collection features a decent collection of two hit singles and ten album tracks from Jefferson Airplane. Recorded for RCA between 1966 and 1969, the disc contains several songs that fall under the category of should have been hits but never were: "Come Up the Years," "My Best Friend," and "It's No Secret."
