Death on Wednesday

Three years since their full-length debut emerges Death On Wednesday's Songs to To. This five-song set finds the band honing their rowdy punk style, but this time around Death On Wednesday is a bit more endearing, and a bit more charming. Nate Lawler might be a vocal growler, but there's a crooner creeping out on Songs to To. From the rockabilly-like romp of "Simple Life'," to the acoustic riffs of "Sympathy," Death On Wednesday's punk rock heart is nursing some pretty serious wounds over failed relationships and painful breakups. It's not overly sentimental or gushing, for Death On Wednesday are strict in presentation and production.
