Submit Your ReviewThe third in the series of 12"s from Peter Rauhofer's Star 69 label remains faithful to the first two volumes' high standards. Rauhofer must have been saving Funky Green Dogs' "Rise Up" and Celeda's "The Underground" to make sure he still had some killer tracks, and both are highlights in these deep mixes. Darker shades are provided by Danny Morales' mix of "Life Is Great" and the Front 242-sounding synth of LNR's "Work It to the Bone." The Pet Shop Boys and Rauhofer collaboration "Break 4 Love" makes its second appearance in the series, almost unrecognizable in the ominous and slowly building Rauhofer mix included here. With squeaky synths and orgasmic moans, Protribe's "Power" brings the thumping house collection to satisfying close. ~ David Jeffries, All Music Guide
