Not to be confused with the previous album Stacy Swings, this solo LP was Jess Stacy's final recording (other than an appearance on Marian McPartland's Piano Jazz radio show); he had been semi-retired already for nearly 20 years. Stacy's absence from the jazz scene was quite unfortunate, for the veteran pianist still had plenty of life in his playing, as he shows throughout the well-rounded set. Highlights include "Stacy's Still Swinging," "100 Years From Today," "After You've Gone" and "What Is There to Say." ~ Scott Yanow, All Music Guide
