Twisted unexpectedly generated an American Top Ten hit for Del Amitri with "Roll to Me." Not surprisingly, that song provides the touchstone for Some Other Sucker's Parade, the follow-up to Twisted. Like that record, Some Other Sucker's Parade isn't that different from Del Amitri's other records -- it's a collection of pleasant, jangly guitar-pop, with nice melodies and gentle hooks. It doesn't offer anything new, but that's not bad, because the group's music is appealing as it is.
