On UFO's third album, the Japanese producers consolidate the world-spanning vision inherent in the title of their previous album, No Sound Is Too Taboo. Most of the styles on 3rd Perspective are French in persuasion, from accordion waltzes to spy-soundtrack grooves. That doesn't make for a bad album, just one which seems to harp on one style when UFO has been known for using the whole world as their palette. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
