    All Music Guide Review

    Three discs of electro cuts from the '80s includes several classics -- Grandmaster Flash's "White Lines," Man Parrish's "Hip Hop Bee Bop (Don't Stop)," Shannon's "Let the Music Play" -- and a handful of even rarer cuts, from the West Street Mob, Warp 9, Melle Mel and Konk. Though the ratio of unknown to familiar tracks is a bit higher than Rhino's Electric Funk box, Absolutely includes a lot of classic material not found elsewhere; also, every track is an extended 12" mix, not a radio edit. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
