Over It

Clean pop-punk sounds and radio-friendly vocals make Over It's debut, Timing Is Everything, something that the bandmembers can hopefully use to launch their careers. Although the music is tight, it's just unfortunate that this Virginia foursome wasn't on the scene earlier with this sound, as Over It would no doubt end up huge due to the band's style of emo-influenced pop-punk being right up the alley of the music-hungry teen market. As it stands, Over It will most likely be lost in the myriad of bands that play along the same lines, but it doesn't mean that Timing Is Everything isn't worth a listen from fans of the genre. Nothing huge stands out here, but considering the heap of acts notably cheesier and more pitiable within this all-too-diluted market, Over It's maturity and polished hooks seem rather refreshing.
