Something of a treat for fans and clubbers who have wanted all of this stuff rounded up on one portable disc, So Good compiles 12" remixes of ten English-language Brenda K. Starr singles. Most of this material isn't quite as unique or as lively as her Spanish-language albums, not to mention her freestyle tracks -- by mainstream house standards, these tracks are pretty rudimentary and indistinct, unless you are attracted foremost to the sound of Starr's voice. If it weren't for the bum rap verse, "Feel So Hip-Hop" would be a clear standout, falling more in line with early-'90s Mary J. Blige than anything aimed directly at clubs.
