    All Music Guide Review

Kamasutra: The Original Music of the Indian Sex Ritual is an interpretation of Chaundr Kauns raags. Al Gromer Khan and Jörg Evers, credited as Shah, discovered the music, arranged it, and performed it for this CD. Khan is on the sitar, his specialty, and Evers is on the synths. This is, as listeners would expect, very sensuous music. The Kamasutra, while certainly erotic and exotic, is also quite spiritual. Khan and Evers pursue both avenues of musical exploration. The atmospheres are vast, the melodies are sweet, and this is a very pleasant listening experience. It will appeal to fans of David Parsons, Riley Lee, and George Harrison's Wonderwall. ~ Jim Brenholts, All Music Guide
