Family Recordings' oddball vault-spelunking series extends a hand to Tim "Love" Lee, who puts together another two-disc mix with genre-hopping glee for the label. As always, the material here is all within the grasp of Universal, the conglomerate that oversees Family, but this fact is pretty much meaningless when there's obviously so much from which to draw. The highlights here include the Pointer Sisters' version of "Yes We Can Can" (which follows Ultravox's "Vienna," of all things), the Undisputed Truth's "Ball of Confusion," H.P. Lovecraft's "Mobius Trip," Robert Palmer's "Looking for Clues," Siouxsie and the Banshees' "Dear Prudence," and a clever mash-up of Cameo's "It's Serious" and Colonel Abrams' "Trapped." For those who like to settle into a specific mood or style while listening to mixes, this will be very unnerving, but it is a fun party mix that never gets dull. ~ Andy Kellman, All Music Guide
