    All Music Guide Review

The three-disc Decadance '80s Groove: The Reunion concentrates on club hits from the early half of the decade. Though a lot of the tracks have appeared on dozens of other like-themed compilations, there's no denying that most of the contents are essential for anyone with a casual interest in early-'80s club-oriented music. Highlights include D Train's "You're the One for Me," Oliver Cheatham's "Get Down Saturday Night," Earth, Wind & Fire's "Let's Groove," Teena Marie's "Behind the Groove," Indeep's "Last Night a DJ Saved My Life," and Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam's "I Wonder If I Take You Home." There are some cases where 12" mixes would've been far more preferable to single edits, but they're not deal breakers. ~ Andy Kellman, All Music Guide
