Lyrics from Blues T-Bone Style
All Music Guide Review
Comprising songs either written or inspired by T-Bone Walker, this record does a fine job of showing off the mastery of both T-Bone and the artists present -- such as Buddy Guy, Ronnie Earl and Gatemouth Brown -- to pay their respects to the great electric blues master. In the sense that all ten tracks were previously available, Blues T-Bone Style doesn't offer anything new. Yet, to hear songs such as "T-Bone Boogie" and "Strollin' With Bones" or Buddy Guy's "Dedication to the Late T-Bone Walker," Walker's influence and musical genius is much more visible than it would be if you were to hear the songs sandwiched among the other tracks on any given artist's release. ~ Steve Kurutz, All Music Guide
