    Like the remainder of the Defected label's In the House mix series, DJ Jazzy Jeff's edition was also released in the vinyl format with its selections provided in full. A pair of double LPs were made available, and they wisely separate the newer house tracks from the older funk classics. The first set includes Jazztronik's "Samuri (Mr. Bongo/Chez Mix)," Soldiers of Twilight's "Drive On," John Beltran's "Kissed by the Sun," Blaze's "I Found Love (Fanatix Mix)," and 1200 Warriors' "Gangsta House" (featuring KRS-One). Most of these tracks have been readily available, but having them in one spot will be beneficial for DJs and those who don't place a high priority on tracking down all the original releases. ~ Andy Kellman, All Music Guide
