This five-song EP is a strange mix of stuff. Two tracks were previously released: the title track from Sweet F.A. and "Trip and Glide," one of the better songs from Hot Trip to Heaven. Of the new songs, the real prize is "Bad Monkey," the only extant track from L&R's semi-legendary, never-released "Swing" project. (It also appeared in radically different form on Love and Rockets, under the title "**** (Jungle Law).) The other two songs are both dark, slow, rather Bauhaus-ian numbers; "The Glittering Darkness" is the better of the two, with surging strings kicking in at the end, and "Ritual Radio" is intriguing at first but way, way too long at 17:40. ~ Bill Cassel, All Music Guide
