    For the Lovers is a collection of mostly swing and hard bop ballads designed to set a romantic mood. As such, there aren't many fireworks here for hardcore jazz aficionados, and some of the material can be a bit generic, but overall, the Kokopelli label sampler does succeed at creating its mood.
