Skeleton Keys doesn't vary much from the polished, house-inspired drum'n'bass Rob Haigh has been engineering since the early '90s. Though his third proper album as Omni Trio features only one diva vocal (on "Red Rain"), all elements of the earlier albums are still in place -- vaguely familiar breaks, gradually tweaked and twisted beyond recognition, with infectious synth-work and an overall spartan production that leaves the listener craving just a bit more. All this familiarity is by no means bad, however, and the presence of a downtempo groove on the title track puts it all into focus. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
