    The Records' second American album is just as tuneful and nearly as catchy as its predecessor, though none of the songs have the punch of "Starry Eyes." "Girl in the Golden Disc" and "Hearts Will Be Broken" are the highlights. Unfortunately, the band's take on the brilliant "Hearts in Her Eyes" (a song written by Will Birch and John Wicks and covered more successfully by the reunited Searchers the previous year) is slightly lackluster and somewhat of a letdown.
