Lyrics from Funkgasm
All Music Guide Review
Crank the volume and clear some dance space when you cue this explosive disc. Trumpeter Tom Browne kicks off this rocket-fueled collection with his bombastic "Funkin' for Jamaica," and Funkgasm closes with the eight-minute "The Jam" by Graham Central Station. Sandwiched between are kicking tracks such as "Bootzilla," "For the Love of Money," "Dazz," "Wanna Make Love (Come Flick My Bic)," and other live wires. "Slide" by Slave broke new ground and, like the other selections, it's included whole and pure -- no radio edits here. An ice breaker for parties, and a must for funk lovers. ~ Andrew Hamilton, All Music Guide
