J Saul Kane (Octagon Man, Depth Charge) compiled this collection of obscure electro and hip-hop classics, and the sheer enthusiasm evident on the collection makes one wonder whatever happened to these unheard artists. Names like Rammellzee Vs. K-Rob, Z-3 MC's, Levi 167 and B+ produce electronic-oriented hip-hop with production values strictly from the basement. With incredible tracks like this lying in wait for reissue, there must be dozens upon dozens of albums' worth of material around. ~ Keith Farley, All Music Guide
