All Music Guide Review
This 12-song blues-based compilation comes exactly as advertised: these are all songs about infidelity and getting a piece of action on the down low while doing your man or woman wrong. Some of the songs were bona fide chart-toppers during their heyday (such as Johnnie Taylor's classic "Who's Making Love?"), while others have remained steadfast favorites for blues fans (such as the compilation's title track from Little Milton and Z.Z. Hill's "Someone Else Is Steppin' In"). While Billy Paul's soul classic "Me and Mrs. Jones" could have easily found a home here, these songs nevertheless get the point across and do it well. If you're faithful to your significant other, there's really no need to own this compilation other than to collect the great songs. However, if you're on the sly and you need a soundtrack to get you to and from your secret rendezvous, then this might very well be just the thing to look for. ~ Rob Theakston, All Music Guide
