Submit Your ReviewFor this unusual (and now obscure) album, Quincy Jones heads Harry Arnold's Swedish Radio Studio Orchestra. The eight Jones arrangements (some of which would soon be played by his own big band) include "The Midnight Sun Never Sets," "Meet Benny Bailey" and "Doodlin'"; in addition, Arnold contributed "Quincy's Home Again." Among the sidemen are trumpeter Bailey himself (who guests on two numbers), trombonist Ake Persson, altoist Arne Domnerus and pianist Bengt Hallberg. An excellent effort featuring a hard-swinging Swedish band that deserved to be better known in the U.S. ~ Scott Yanow, All Music Guide
