Like its two predecessors, Easyriders, Vol. 3 is a 14-track collection of Southern rock, arena rock, classic rock, hard rock and metal designed to appeal to the sterotypical bike. Again, there are a few surprises (Tommy Bolin's "Bustin' out for Rosey," New Riders of the Purple Sage's "Panama Red" thrown in to balance staples like "Mississippi Queen," "Brown Eyed Girl," "The Devil Went Down to Georgia," "Hurdy Gurdy Man," "Two Tickets to Paradise," "Frankenstein," "Tuff Enuff," "Evil Woman," "I Got a Line on You" and "Time (Has Come Today)." Again, it's a solid, enjoyable collection that is only necessary to classic rock fans who want all these songs on one disc, or to listeners that want a CD with a sexy, big-breasted model on the cover. This time, unlike last, the model is a redhead in a shell bikini, not a topless blonde. [For listeners and stores that would rather have Easyriders, Vol. 3 without the chesty model on the cover, there is an alternate cover featuring just the motorcycle.] ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
