Lyrics from The Greatest Hits
All Music Guide Review
The Greatest Hits, released in 2005 by the Universal-distributed Empire Musicwerks, is almost identical to Hot Productions' 1996-released The Best of Amii Stewart: Knock on Wood. The only difference is that it contains the two-minute vignette "Paradise Found" instead of "Friends." "Knock on Wood," along with other chart hit "Light My Fire/137 Disco Heaven," are included, in addition to some hit-and-miss album cuts off Stewart's first couple albums ("Bring It on Back to Me," "The Letter," "You Really Touched My Heart"). The average disco fan will be better off picking up "Knock on Wood" on a various-artists compilation. Only hardcore disco fans and DJs need anything more from the singer. ~ Andy Kellman, All Music Guide
