Dirt Dog , Osirus, Big Baby Jesus...but to all he will always be the
late great ODB. In 1992 we were blessed with the collective known
to all as the Wu Tang Clan , whom went on to sell over 5 million
albums domestically and overseas . One of the nine original members
and contributors ODB would come to be known as one of the
most popular members due to his rhyme style, energetic personality,
and unconventional style of self. In 1995, signed to Elektra
records, he released his first album "Return to the 36 Champers."
This would prove to be the beginning of an illustrious career, giving
birth to two now Gold albums. To his credit and repertoire, ODB
was the force behind such hits as Brooklyn Zoo, Shimmy Shimmy
Ya, Got Ur Money, and the hit remix of the Mariah Carey single
Fantasy . In 2004 ODB ventured out and signed to the Hip Hop
Powerhouse Roc-A-Fella records (deal switched to Damon Dash
Music Group) and fueled with a new outlook on his career and life
he began working on the new album entitled A Son Unique. This
album features songs which are true to the name and legacy of ODB.
Coochie feat. none other than ATL Golden Hitmaker Ludacris.
Also featured are tracks by Ghostface and the rest of the Wutang
family along with Busta Rhymes and many others. In honor of ODB
contributions to the history of hip hop, on August 9, 2005 Damon
Dash Music Group presents to you the last album by the late but
never forgotten ODB....throw your W in the air!
