Recorded live at the Church of the Holy Trinity in New York, with Delmoni playing a 1721 Stradivarius. The album suffers from some peculiar audio problems -- Meg Bachman Vas' piano has a muddy, leaden sound, while Delmoni's violin, far more audible in the recording, has a harsh tone to it. On the musical side, it is an energetic and interesting combination -- Delmoni selected pieces in A Major from both composers, concluding with Faure's "Apres Un Reve." Overall, splendid performances, but hampered by some very serious acoustic problems. ~ Steven McDonald, All Music Guide
