    This disc by two Southern rock legends who happen to be brothers, Johnny (Lynyrd Skynyrd) and Donnie (.38 Special) Van Zant, is pretty much exactly what you would expect it to be. Van Zant II contains ten tracks of well-written and performed Southern rock. Although there are no real surprises or chances taken, the CD should definitely please fans of the genre and blues-rock in general.
