Originally issued in 1995 as Christmas Here with You, this collection of latter-day Four Tops holiday songs is a mixture of contemporary and classic favorites. Duets with fellow hometown mainstay Aretha Franklin start things off quite nicely on "Christmas Here with You" and "White Christmas." The collection might not present the classic Four Tops or the definitive Motown sound (for a dose of those, check the outstanding 20th Century Masters - Motown Christmas series), but those looking for a highly polished, soulful alternative to the same predictable holiday musical fare would be well served by checking this out. ~ Rob Theakston, All Music Guide
