Delta's Tranquil Moods: Prelude features contemporary instrumentals by Justo Almario. Almario mixes elements of world music, new age, and smooth jazz in his compositions, as exemplifed by "Naima and Jazmin," "The Plumbline," and the title track. "Again" and "Tesoros" are some of the album's other highlights. While some of the tracks sound a little dated and generic, for the most part Tranquil Moods: Prelude delivers suitably mellow background music. ~ Heather Phares, All Music Guide
