One of Eddie Rabbitt's final projects was the charming children's album Songs from Rabbittland, which finds the singer-songwriter turning in a collection of 16 original songs (although "Woodchuck" sounds awfully familiar). He has a charming, laid-back delivery, and the songs have an appealing sing-song quality reminiscent of many children's albums. Rabbitt doesn't really distinguish himself as a children's songwriter here -- there's nothing as memorable as his best country or pop songs -- but there's a warm, friendly vibe to the record that's enough to make Songs from Rabbittland a success. ~ Thom Owens, All Music Guide
