All Music Guide Review
Like its immediate predecessor, The '80s, Decades of Dance: The '90s has some...uneven song selection. Overall, the '90s saw more innovations in mainstream dance than the '80s, but only handful of those innovations are heard on this disc. Instead, there are edits and remixes of forgotten songs like Blue Pearl's "Can You Feel the Passion" and Kym Mazelle's "Don't Scandalize My Name," remixes of older songs like Culture Club's "Miss Me Blind" and Blondie's "Rapture," and follow-up singles from the likes of MC Hammer ("Pray") and Right Said Fred ("Don't Talk, Just Kiss"). There are a couple of cool singles in the mix -- Arrested Development's "Tennessee," Frankie Knuckles' "Workout," Technotronic's "Move This (Yo Kid K Mix)," Eternal's "Stay," Mantronix's "Got to Have Your Love"... ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
