All Music Guide Review
In 1998 the Simitar label, a division of Warner Special Products, released several budget-priced discs featuring number one hits from the '60s, '70s and '80s, loosely based around such themes as Rock It Up, Lovin' Feelings and Party On. Each disc presents the original version of these popular singles on a 16-track CD. Number Ones: The Super 70's highlights include "Your Mama Don't Dance" (Loggins & Messina), "Lady Marmalade" (LaBelle), "Green-Eyed Lady" (Sugarloaf) and "Love Is Like Oxygen" (Sweet). Despite minor packaging flaws, Simitar's Number Ones is a decent budget-line series. ~ Al Campbell, All Music Guide
