    Actually an Ink side project released as M:I:5, Maßstab 1:5 presents 11 tracks of repetitive, minimalist dub-dance. Most work through distinctive three-note bass rhythms dropping in and out of the mix, a languid beat-per-second tempo, and off-kilter, backtracked effects designed to hit simultaneously in left and right channels only once every five occurrences (hence the title). Potentially bland or hypnotic, depending on the point of view, these tracks revealed Ink as a master of post-rave beat experimentation. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
