Produced by Leon F. Sylvers III, Dynasty's debut LP Your Piece of the Rock sported the almost-eight-minute long disco smash "I Don't Wanna Be a Freak (But I Can't Help Myself)," which went to number 36 on the R&B charts in the fall of 1979. The title track, "Satisfied," and "Still a Thrill" were also dancefloor favorites. The midtempo ballad "Dial My Number" hearkens back to the producer/group leader's work with his family, the Sylvers. Your Piece of the Rock was reissued as a 1999 CD, and some of the album's tracks can be found on Greatest Hits and the 1994 Sequel CD The Best of Dynasty.
