    All Music Guide Review

Creation's Last Train to Satansville EP offers the version of the title track found on 1993's Mezcal Head, their cover of the Velvet Underground's "Jesus" (also found on A&M's Reel to Real promo EP and a rare VU tribute record), as well as "Satansville Revisited" and "Land of the Lost." The blazing, re-vamped version of "Satansville" features a Sun-style rockabilly shuffle beat which adds a further dimension of suspense to the original. Where Adam Franklin is a drunk-on-revenge killer on "Satansville," he sounds like a heartbroken and desperate soul lost in the Mojave during "Land of the Lost" as he repeats the line "So lost/ I can't live without your love." By all means, seek this one out. ~ Andy Kellman, All Music Guide
